DJ’S 6 DAYS OF GIVING
CREATING MEANINGFUL EXPERIENCES BEFORE CHRISTMAS
In 2017 DJ’s 6 Days of Giving program focused on creating 6 meaningful experiences in the days leading up to Christmas. DeAndre wore the number 6 jersey for the Los Angeles Clippers.
The program kicked off in 2017 with DAY 1 shopping spree at MATTEL for 100 kids from the Why Can’t We Make a Difference Foundation. Followed by a DAY 2 donation of 600 coloring books and teddy bears to patients at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
On DAY 3 DJ treated a group of 60 kids to a private viewing of a children’s holiday movie. On DAY 4 he sent 6 veterans and their families on an unforgettable holiday trip to Disneyland. DAY 5’s day of giving saw DJ donating Clipper game tickets to the first responders of the devastating Los Angeles Fires. On DAY 6 DJ hosted 6 Houston families affected by Hurricane Harvey to a night out at the Clippers vs. Rockets game that included a post-game meet and greet!
“I love using my platform to create unforgettable holiday memories for children. I look forward to hosting ‘6 Days of Giving’ every year in communities that have impacted me throughout my lifetime. My hope is that the DeAndre Jordan Treehouse Giving foundation continues to inspire and empower families through meaningful experiences.”
